Boyne River can break maiden tag

Naas 13:40 - Boyne River

Boyne River ran very well in her final two starts this season. This looks a smart maiden that could well produce stakes performers, but Boyne River's form entitles her to run well. She's in good shape for her seasonal return and hopefully she'll go well.#

Strong duo set to run

Naas 14:10 - Visualisation/Hype

Visualisation made an impressive handicap debut when winning at Gowran Park last month. He is 11lb higher here, but he earned that rating and I'd be hopeful that he is progressive enough to be competitive off his new mark. He's a horse that will probably try a mile-and-a-quarter at some stage, but we'll see how he goes here before picking his next spot.

Hype is a progressive horse that made it third-time lucky when winning at Dundalk in October. He is one that you'd hope will progress this season and this looks a lovely starting point for him. A low draw is a positive for him and while we won't be burdening him with big expectations on his comeback, we'll be hoping to see plenty of promise from him.

Cheltenham winner can enjoy himself

Naas 14:40 - Band Of Outlaws

Band Of Outlaws will always be a special horse to us here after giving us our first Cheltenham Festival win in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle in 2019. He got hurt after running very well in the Galway Hurdle later that year and it's been a long road back with him. He'd ready to start back now and we just hope he shapes with some promise and comes home sound.

Andreas has a tough task

Naas 15:10 - Andreas Vesalius

Andreas Vesalius improved nicely from his debut when finishing a close fourth in a maiden over this course and distance last time. He didn't get the clearest run that day and there should be more improvement to come from him. This is a strong race, but I'd be hopeful that he can run well.

Magnaimous can go one better

Naas 16:40 - Magnanimous

Magnanimous is a lovely horse that ran very well to finish second in the Tetrarch Stakes at the Curragh last time. He travelled much the best that day and has never looked lacking in pace, so we've decided to try him back at this shorter trip to see how it suits him. His best form entitles him to be in the mix and I wouldn't be surprised if the trip suits him.

Drop in trip may do the trick

Naas 17:10 - Snapraeterea

Snapraeterea wasn't far off his previous best when fourth in a Group 3 against older horses at Leopardstown last week. He should be fine back over this shorter trip and we are hoping for another good run from him, for all that it would be a surprise if he was quite good enough to win.

Debut should guide us

Wexford 16:55 - Whispering Pines

Whispering Rock is a lovely filly that shows a nice bit of ability at home. It would be a big ask to hope that she could win on debut, but it wouldn't surprise if she ran very well.
