Deserves her crack at Group 1
14:50 - Bolleville
We were delighted with Bolleville's first run for us, with her winning a Listed race at Leopardstown last month. That race was just a getting-to-know-you exercise, so for her to win in the style that she did was very encouraging. It is obviously a big ask of her to step up to Group 1 company now, but she is proven on testing ground and I would be surprised if she didn't improve from her run at Naas, so it's worth having a crack at it. If she finished in the frame, it would be a great result.
Expecting another good run
14:20 - Mr Mooj
Mr Mooj has been running very well without winning since entering handicaps this year. He can be expected to run another good race around a track that should suit him.
Trio to compete for great pot
14:50 - State Of Rest, Vafortino and Charmed
This new race is a fantastic addition to the programme and we were very keen to have a go at what is a great pot.
State Of Rest and Vafortino come into this with similar profiles and are closely matched based on their running in the Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown last time. They were ridden in contrasting fashion that day and the key to their chance in this is probably how well they adapt to the shorter trip. I'd be hopeful that both of them will be fine over it and the balance of their form gives them a chance of getting into the money.
Charmed ran a really nice race to finish second in a maiden over this course and distance earlier this month and should improve again from that. He has a bit to find with the main protagonists, but I'd be hopeful he can run a good race.
Trisha can take her chance
15:20 - Mighty Blue and Traisha
Mighty Blue is declared at the Curragh on Saturday and we declared her for this just in case anything goes wrong there.
Traisha has been very good since joining us, winning a handicap at Killarney and earning black type when third in a Listed race at Gowran Park. She faces a tough enough task here, but we'll let her take her chance and hope that she measures up.
Another would be a Delight
15:55 - Zoffany's Delight and Tar Heel
The penny really dropped with Zoffany's Delight on his nursery debut at Sligo last time and we were delighted to see him win. The cheekpieces really seemed to focus his mind and he won well. This is a much tougher test, but it's a very good pot for a horse of his rating and we'll give it a go with him.
Tar Heel has the ability to win, but hasn't put it all together just yet. There was more promise in his latest effort at Cork and hopefully he can build on that in this.
