"He is best judged on his previous effort when finishing an excellent second to Brainstorm"
Nick Shiambouros ended the week on a high when St. Louis Joe won easily. Nick heads to Will Rogers Downs with two selections from the Monday meeting...
Tailorbeswift to hit a high note
Race 4 20:24 Will Rogers Downs - Tailorbeswift
Tailorbeswift should go close in this $15k non-winner of three on the main track.
This filly was impressive when beating Fast Sophia in a $10k non-winner of two at Oaklawn Park last month. She was caught in a speed duel, but found plenty for pressure and won going away. This was a super effort and clearly has more to offer. She makes her local debut in this tougher spot, but comes in to this race in cracking form. Anything around 3.55/2 will do.
Bricktown Brown worth another go
Race 10 23:12 Will Rogers Downs - Bricktown Brown
I am going to give Bricktown Brown another chance in this Maiden Special Weight on the main track.
This gelding disappointed when finishing a distant fourth to Mesta Park in a similar event earlier this month. He found nothing when popped the question, and finished well beaten. He is best judged on his previous effort when finishing an excellent second to Brainstorm. A reproduction of this effort would see him go close. Trainer Donald Trett has a small string, but has had a winner at the meeting. Anything around 5.04/1 will do.
