Another winner for Alan at Newbury yesterday at 11/2 and he is looking to finish his week with two more from the televised Ripon races...
Internationaldream's third at Glorious Goodwood makes him the pick
Back Internationaldream @ 7/4 in the 14:40 Ripon
Just a small field going to post here where I really like the look of Internationaldream, for the Richard Fahey team. They won this race last year with Ventura Lightening who went on to contest the Rockingham Stakes at York and only went down by less than a length. I think this horse has a similar profile, I believe he has far more natural speed than his main danger Fountain Cross and has already produced the strongest line of form in this contest last time out, when he finished third in the Molecomb at Glorious Goodwood. He has won before over this trip and the return to six furlongs will be a welcome one and I can see him going in again.
All four runners have chances but the main contender looks like being Fountain Cross, who ran very creditable efforts in Listed/Group 2 races the last twice and is rated 3lbs better than the selection.

Back Hortzadaer @ 11/4 in the 14:40 Ripon
I backed a David O'Meara horse yesterday at Newbury and it let me down, but I am not going to desert the trainer just yet. Today he runs last year's winner of this race Hortzadaer off the same mark as he ran last year and he looks set to make this race his own once more. He won't mind what the weather does as he acts on both soft and good to firm.
His last two races he hasn't been able to get involved from off the pace which is strange as generally he's ridden a little more prominently, which I think he will return to today as on this track it tends to suit those at the front end. He has a smart claimer in the saddle in the shape of Sean Kirrane, his 5lb claim will help and he has a decent draw to work from.
