Exaltation hasn't won for ten outings but he looks weighted to go well here, particularly after his very good sixth in a minor event over this course and distance 17 days ago. Teofilia looked back to her best when narrowly beaten here last time and should prove the chief threat, while Basilica Santo can fight it out for third.
#7 Thomas Tucker - Fairview R7 (15:05)
Thomas Tucker got back on track when runner-up over this course and distance on his penultimate start, and he confirmed that return to form when beaten a neck by Norfolk Pine here ten days ago. He is better off with that rival this time around and is taken to reverse the placings. Calgary is also worth a second look on his handicap debut.
#12 La Bastide - Fairview R8 (15:40)
La Bastide has been running well of late and could have been underestimated by the market here. She finished runner-up here last time and was arguably unlucky to have bumped into one as progressive as she did, the winner racking up her third successive victory. She has plenty of experience on her side and should go well at a potentially big price. Linda Loves Lace finished a respectable seventh here last time and has a good chance on the pick of her form, while Forget O' Girls may be the one to fill the places.
