Coinage makes plenty of appeal on pedigree being by Tapit out of the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint winner Bar of Gold. Bought for $450,000 as a yearling, he rates a fascinating contender for the Mark Casse barn which is well capable of readying a newcomer. Barese and Golden Holiday are feared most of the remainder.
#5 Quasar - Belmont R5 (20:02 BST)
Quasar could be worth siding with to end a losing run stretching back to February 2020. He was beaten only two and a half lengths on the turf here last time and this represents a weaker race than those he usually contests. Irresistible Girl is unexposed and rates the chief threat following a comfortable success at this track three weeks ago, leaving Take It Off to complete the shortlist.

Seismic Wave is a smart performer at his best, as he showed when filling the runner-up spot in a Grade 3 here last July. Admittedly, he has been below that form in two starts since joining Chad Brown (formerly trained by Bill Mott), but the significant drop in grade here gives him an obvious chance to resume winning ways. Danebury and Grumps Little Tots are next best.
