Will Moonei be able to star finally?

After a pair of 1-2 picks this week in the quest for the double - with Well Cliche getting done at 1.011/100, the double was landed for yesterday's column with Sea Silk Road and Lionel. The latter probably named after Richie rather than Bainbridge, was a fantastic drifter out to 10.62481/50 on the BSP, to give a 20.019/1 double.
I settle mine at prices advised, and it works both ways, but hopefully you got the best odds guaranteed. The form of the column since Monday has been 1123451212 going into Saturday.
Hello my old friend too with Mooneista, a sprinter who I have backed twice this term and she has finished second and third. I held the belief at the start of the campaign she is a Group-performer, and I will give her one more chance to get her head in front.
She was third last time out at Naas over 5f, and I was left a little flat by the run. The winner Romantic Proposal looked a giant in comparison and travelled well, while the second had the run of the race in front. Mooneista was switched off out the back and never really got a clear run and the dive up the inside was perhaps the wrong one.
The 4yo also appeared to change her action inside the final 2f.
She had previously ran well at Cork on the wrong side of the track and hit 1.374/11 in-running, but she has such a high cruising speed and a potent turn of foot, I will be kicking myself if she wins and I don't put her up.
The extra furlong looks a good move judged on her Naas run, and she seems to handle yielding and soft fine. In fact she ran a cracker in the Commonwealth Cup last term in heavy.
Soft ground crucial to the chances of the Shadow
Back Secret Shadow @ 5.59/2 in the 14:50 at Goodwood
Sussex was a happy hunting ground yesterday, as it was when I played cricket there, and Secret Shadow will have her ground as she starts her season in a good-looking 1m6f handicap.
She was a progressive 3yo last term, as she posted wins at Windsor, Nottingham and Newbury. Soft and heavy ground helped unlock the improvement, as did the step up in distance.
Her last outing was at Newbury and she beat Maketh Believeth and Aggagio in 0-95 company, with Aggagio winning on Friday.
This is clearly hotter, but she loved soft conditions and is a strong traveller. Her dam Secret Pursuit actually ran at this meeting in the Height Of Fashion many years ago and seems to possess her mother's tactical speed considering she's a stayer.
Oman is the favourite, and was behind Secret Shadow in the Newbury race, while I am still to be convinced about the form of the Ralph Beckett yard - who has hit just three winners from his last 29 sent out.
The two are big enough to play in the each-way double for today's multiple.
