Sam Turner has four tips for the final day of the 2026 Cheltenham Festival

Betfair tipster Sam Turner hit the bar with Jazzy Matty [8/1] on day two following his opening day [18/1] winner, and has four selections for Gold Cup day...

Another Betfair Superboost winner!

It's three winning Superboosts in Cheltenham week after our final day selection landed. More than 11,000 Betfair customers were on Willie Mullins' Selma De Vary to finish in the top four of the Triumph Hurdle at boosted odds of 5/42.25 from 4/91.44. Together with Old Park Star and Jonbon that means we have paid out multiple times this week!

My ante-post hopes and dreams rest with Gaelic Warrior in today's Gold Cup as the talented, if not a little mecurial grey, bids to give his owner Rich Ricci a first win in the blue riband event.

Some of the forecast rain would not go amiss for the chances of the former Arkle Chase winner who should be much happier around the contours of Cheltenham than the wide open expanses of Leopardstown where his record is uninspiring.

The story goes that the selection worked extremely well last week so, if he consents to drop his head early on, he has the class to be involved at the business end with his Leopardstown conqueror Fact To File otherwise engaged.

Triumph Hurdle, 13:20 - Back Maestro Conti @ 7/18.00

Day four looks a big one for Dan Skelton who has a 'better than ever" Grey Dawning in the main event and some strong chances through the card.

The Warwickshire handler could begin Gold Cup day the best way with success for Maestro Conti who is reported to be thriving as the lead up to his main target of the season approaches.

A good winner on soft ground on Trials Day on the New Course, the French recruit has also won on a sound surface at Kempton so underfoot conditions should be no issue for a horse which did plenty wrong last time, but still won with a degree of comfort.

Although lit up mid race, rider Harry Skelton did well to harbour the selection's energy for the closing stages where he finished powerfully up the hill to see off solid yardstick One Horse Town.

Skelton revealed that his gelding has stepped forward again since his second UK start and although he must resist the Mullins batallions and a strong challenge from Minella Study, his high cruising speed should carry him deep into the race.

County Hurdle, 14:00 - Back Sixandahalf each-way @ 12/113.00

At the time of writing, the gamble on the novice Sinnatra has begun to gather pace and it is easy to see why he would attract so much support.

The Skelton operation have cleverly qualified their novice for this race with an 11th hour win at Warwick and his two runs behind the subsequent Grade 1 placed Act Of Innocence read extremely well.

A strongly-run two miles with some cut in the ground look ideal and time may tell that Sinnatra is thrown in off a mark of just 134 on his handicap debut.

However, the market has pegged his chance and there look solid claims for supporting the two Gavin Cromwell attendees, especially after the jockey and trainer combination struck on Wednesday afternoon.

Sixandahalf was matched shorter than Ronnie Corbett in last year's mares novices' hurdle but somehow failed to resist the late thrust of Air Of Entitlement after travelling like the wrath of God throughout.

She has been given a typically patient preparation in some small field Irish hurdle events this winter and I would expect a sharper display now she drops back into a big-field handicap hurdle with a strong pace almost assured. Connections have also resolved one or two issues that have also come to light with her physically.

County Hurdle, 14:00 - Back Hello Neighbour each-way @ 12/113.00

https://betting.betfair.com/horse-racing/racecards/13-march-2026/cheltenham/10/2/#hello-neighbour-ire

The case for last season's Triumph Hurdle sixth Hello Neighbour is pretty similar and he appeared to run better than his finishing position suggested at Leopardstown last time.

Third to Lulamba and Poniros at Punchestown last term, the five-year-old appears to have taken time to find his best form this term, but he is another that should relish the rigours of a truly-run affair given he can sometimes race a little exuberantly.

The handicapper has left him alone for his two starts this season and it's worth recalling he wasn't disgraced behind impressive Champion Hurdle winner Lossiemouth in the December Hurdle.

With a yard like Cromwells, it often pays to jump on board once the bandwagon starts to move and both his runners here make some appeal with the enhanced places on offer.

Mares' Chase, 14:40 - Back Panic Attack @ 11/43.75 (NAP)

Dino Blue will be a strong fancy of many to repeat her success in this race 12 months ago, with the forecast rain sure to strengthen the belief in her chance.

She is very difficult to crib with her effectiveness under today's conditions assured, but her price is likely to be tight enough and I wonder whether the resurgent Panic Attack might trouble last season's heroine.

The progress made by Dan Skelton's mare has been nothing short of astonishing this term as she has mopped up a couple of the season's most competitive handicap chases prior to flying round Newbury in a mares' Listed event in January.

Rested since, she is reported to be pleasing her handler in the lead up to this assignment and she offers a little more value than the ante-post favourite.

Sam Turner's Cheltenham Multi Tip: Each-way double could pay dividends

Maestro Conti (Cheltenham, 13:20) forms the first leg of the each-way double with four places on offer and his effectiveness at the track assured.

Quite remarkably, Itsontheline (Cheltenham, 14:40) has finished runner-up in the last four renewals of this event, but connections have tinkered with his preparation slightly this time round and that could see him gain a deserved win.
