Much better on chase debut last time

Should get a strong pace to chase

Pep Talking is overpriced at Hereford

Pep Talking hadn't shown much in four starts under rules before making his chasing debut at Huntingdon. He looked the likely winner some way out that day and I think he has a very good chance to follow up in the opening race at Hereford.
Always travelling well in before the leading pair from the off, he eased to the front turning into the home straight and despite looking a bit gawky out in front he pulled clear late on to win comfortably.
He looked better than an 85-rated horse in points and now that he's been switched to fences, Pep Talking looks likely to keep improving. He should get a good pace to track with Ensel Du Perche in the field and he looks capable of following up if in the same form as at Huntingdon.
There is a slight concern when a horse suddenly shows more as to whether they will repeat it or not, particularly when coming from a yard with a low strike rate, but hopefully it was the switch to chasing that did the trick for Pep Talking and any 7/42.75 or bigger appeals.
