Ludvig Aberg 22/123.00: If the 24-year-old Swede wins this week, it will be one of the most amazing sports' stories of the past decade - or any decade for that matter. This time last year he wasn't even ranked inside the world's top 900. Since then there's been victories on both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, as well as being catapulted into Europe's Ryde Cup team. He is not only making his Masters debut this week, it is also his first-ever major championship. He finished eighth at Sawgrass last month and is now ranked 9th in the world.
Wyndham Clark 20/121.00: With the exception of Scottie Scheffler, the reigning US Open champion is probably the hottest performer of 2024 so far. The Colorado-born pro has stood on three podiums in his last six starts, which included a victory at Pebble Beach. Similar to Aberg, he is hoping to become the first Masters debutant to wear the Green Jacket since Fuzzy Zoeller in 1979.
Dustin Johnson 25/126.00: Many might consider the 39-year-old a surprise selection for this list, but the 2020 Masters' winner has enjoyed a promising start to the year. The former world No 1 tasted victory in Las Vegas, which was the LIV Tour's second tournament of 2024 and staged in early February.
Brooks Koepka 14/115.00: The most prolific Major player of the current generation. Form going into majors rarely seems important when it applies to Koepka, as witnessed by his five titles to date. His starts on the LIV Tour this year read: 5-12-12-28-45. But don't let that fool you, as he remains a leading contender this week. He has twice finished second at Augusta, most recently 12 months ago behind Rahm.

Hideki Matsuyama [14/1]: Appears to have found top gear again in recent weeks. The 2021 Masters champion won the Signature Event at Riviera in February, and tied-seventh in Texas on Sunday.
Rory Mcilroy 8/19.00: After a slow start to his American schedule in 2024, the 34-year-old finally posted a PGA Tour top-10, thanks to a podium slot in San Antonio over the weekend. Maybe finding his sharpness just at the right time. The Masters remains the only major McIlroy has never won.
Joaquin Niemann 18/119.00: This may appear to be a surprise inclusion in the list, but the 25-year-old Chilean has opened 2024 in excellent form on the Saudi-backed LIV Tour. He has won two of the opening five events and, on Sunday, tied-ninth in Miami. This will be his fifth Masters appearance, and he has a best Augusta finish of tied-16th from last year.
Jon Rahm 10/111.00: The defending champion who opted to jump ship last autumn when he joined the LIV Tour. The Spaniard is currently second in the LIV standings for 2024 thanks to five top-10 finishes from five starts.
Xander Schauffele 11/112.00: 'Mr Consistent', with regards to current form, as well as major history. A seven-time winner on the PGA Tour, the 30-year-old has had 11 T10s in majors, including a brace of podiums at Augusta. And in eight starts during 2024, has finished inside the top-five on four occasions.
Scottie Scheffler 10/34.33: The dominant world No 1 heads to Augusta in roasting hot form thanks to victories at Bay Hill and Sawgrass. He rarely fails to contend, whenever he tees-up. The 2022 Masters' champion looks more than ready to claim the second major title of his career.
Cameron Smith 25/126.00: Will have hopefully shaken off the illness which led to his withdrawal from the latest LIV Tour event in Miami last week. Has a best finish of tied-2nd this year. Twice on the podium at Augusta.
Will Zalatoris 22/123.00: Still a relatively new pro, the 27-year-old from San Francisco has enjoyed a remarkable run of top-10s in majors. Has finished second three times, and posted six T10s from his last nine major starts. And he missed all four majors of 2023 due to injury.
