The Scottish Open

Always played on a classic links course, the Scottish Open is the perfect warm-up for The Open Championship. A nomadic event, the 2018 tournament goes back to Gullane, where Rickie Fowler was victorious in 2015. Founded in 1882, this wind-whipped par 70 is a true links test and sits just a mile away from occasional Open venue Muirfield. A top-class field is in town with Justin Rose heading the betting but there’s stacks of talent in behind all looking to go into Open week with a win.
