Alfred Dunhill Championship 2025 - Contenders based on current form

Christiaan Bezuidenhout @ 12/113.00

Bezuidenhout finished fourth at last week's Nedbank Challenge in Sun City - his eighth top 12 finish at a tournament in Africa over the past half-decade - and he is the favourite on the Betfair Sportsbook for this week's event. Of the players in this week's field, he sits fifth for points accumulated in the last six months.

Jayden Trey Schaper @ 16/117.00

Schaper performed even better than Bez at the Nedbank, finishing tied for second, just one shot behind winner Kristoffer Reitan. Schaper was sixth at the India Championship a couple of months ago and followed that up with top 30 and top 20 finishes at Abu Dhabi and Dubai respectively. He boasts more top 12 finishes (12) than anyone else in the field.

Thriston Lawrence 28/129.00

That Lawrence is a bigger price than the two aforementioned contenders is perhaps down to his recent performances. The world number 64 was tied for 33rd at the Nedbank. His best recentish display was in India where he was tied for third. He is already a winner this year after he claimed the OMEGA Championship at Crans-Montana, Switzerland in August. This may be the ideal place for him to rediscover his best form, as he has 10 top 12 finishes in Africa.
