We've got two tournaments to consider this week and our man's picked out a triple-figure priced pick in both events...

Prolific South African overpriced again

Scotsman backed to rack up the hattrick

The defending champion, Jon Rahm, who's bidding to win the Open de España for a fourth time, is a perfectly fair price at around 5/23.50 and if he turns up in form he could romp home once again.
He won at this venue, Club de Campo, by five strokes in 2019 and by six last year, but if he doesn't play to his potential, we may just see an outsider take the title and if we do, they may well be from South Africa.
As highlighted in the preview, South Africans have a decent record at Club de Campo and Zander Lombard was on my radar given he has course form reading 7-56-4 and that he arrives in fair form.
The 28-year-old Pretorian is a tempting price at 140.0139/1 but he's yet to taste victory on the DP World Tour so instead I've plumped for the far more prolific 26-year-old, Thriston Lawrence, who has already won four times.

As Matt Cooper highlights in his each-way piece, Lawrence has a fabulous record at altitude and although he missed the cut here on debut 12 months ago, given he's been victorious in four of his last 51 starts on the DP World Tour, and that he finished third at the Irish Open just four starts ago, he's a must play at a triple-figure price.

This week's PGA Tour event - the Shriners Children's Open - has produced more than its fair share of longshot winners and I'm more than happy to play someone who's already caused a shock at TPC Summerlin twice previously.
Martin Laird was a PGA Tour maiden when he took this title in extra time 14 years ago and he came close to defending in 2010.
For the second year in-a-row he was involved in a three-man playoff but with darkness descending, that one ended in incredible fashion when Jonathan Byrd aced the par three 17th.
His 18th placed finish in 2014 was his only top-20 finish in his next eight starts at TPC Summerlin but that didn't stop him from rocking up in Vegas three years to win yet again, this time at 250.0249/1.
Laird has only finished 11th and 37th here in the last two years but he finished runner-up at the 3M Open just four starts ago and he's ranked fifth, first, fourth, fifth and 14th for Driving Accuracy in his last five starts.
As highlighted in the preview, straight driving has been key at this venue.
