Two outsiders chanced in Scotland and Mississippi

As highlighted in the two previews (see above for links), both the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship on the DP World Tour and the Sanderson Farms Championship on the PGA Tour have produced more than their fair share of longshot winners, so I've chanced two in each event...
It's now ten years since Englishman, Nathan Kimsey, finished runner-up in the St Andrews Links Trophy before turning pro and it took nine years for him to win his first pro title but he's a force to be reckoned with now at the age of 30.
After winning twice on the Challenge Tour last year he came very close to getting off the mark on the PGA Tour in July when he lost a playoff to Vincent Norrman at the Barbasol Championship, and he looks set to contend here after two reasonable efforts on the DP World Tour.
A 75 in round four saw Kinsey slip from eighth to 28th at the BMW PGA Championship before he came from off the pace to finish 14th in the Open de France last time out, where he ranked first for Driving Accuracy and sixth for Greens In Regulation.
He also ranked as high as 15th for Strokes Gained: Putting and 16th for Putting Average in Paris and that's his best performance on the greens since his playoff defeat in Kentucky.
Kimsey missed the cut on his only previous appearance in this event way back in 2017 but he's a very different player now and he's worth chancing here at a triple-figure price.

As highlighted in the preview, the English have an excellent record in this event, with seven different Englishmen taking the title this century, so I'm happy to chance another.
It's now nine years since Ross Fisher won the fifth of his five DP World Tour events and the former Ryder Cupper can't be described as resolute in-the-mix, but the same accusation could have been flung in the direction of several winners of the event, so I'm prepared to overlook that given his price, his event form, and his encouraging current form.
The 42-year-old has finished runner-up here three times previously, in 2008, 2016 and 2017, and he's contended in a couple of events recently too.
Fisher sat third at halfway at both the Made in HimmerLand in July and the Irish Open a month ago and although disappointing weekends saw him slump to eighth and 23rd, playing with an amateur may help him to relax this week and he looks over-priced at 250.0249/1.
As highlighted in the preview, I've already backed Mississippi native, David Riley, to lead after round one for the second year in-a-row and I'm also backing Fulton-based pro, Chad Ramey, to take the title in his home state.
This is Chad's fourth outing at the Sanderson Farms Championship and although his event figures only read 26-63-MC, he sat second third, fifth, and eighth in-between rounds on debut when a tournament invite back in 2018 and he's in far better form than he's been in previously when he's teed it up at Jackson Country Club.
Ramey lost his way a bit after securing his first PGA Tour title at the Corales Puntacana Championship last year, but he's missed just one of his last eight cuts and having finished tied 19th in the Fortinet Championship last time out, he looks primed to challenge in his home state once again.
Place order to lay 8u @ 10.09/1 & 12u @ 2.01/1
The 2015 winner and 2020 runner-up, Peter Malnati, is a very obvious pick after his eye-catching 11th place finish at the Fortinet Championship.
The 36-year-old Tennessee native has missed more cuts than he's made this season so that was an encouraging performance last time out and he clearly loves it here given he's made the weekend on seven of eight previous visits.
Famed for being a quite brilliant putter and one of the game's more amiable characters, Malnati looks worth chancing at a triple-figure price in what is a relatively weak renewal.
