St Lucia Kings v St Kitts & Nevis Patriots team news
Jamaica are the holders and they showed their muscle in Gros Islet, beating St Lucia after posting 187. Their clash against Barbados Royals was washed out. Brandon King has continued the form which saw him claim the T20 series for West Indies against India. They have solid batting depth with Imad Wasim and Chris Green at Nos 7 and 8.
Possible XI: King, McKenzie, Brooks, Jangoo, Reifer, Allen, Imad, Green, Amir, Gordon, Irshad
Patriots have bowled only three overs in the competition after rain ruined their contest against Trinbago. They have set their stall out to be a pace-heavy side with four selected. Whether that proves to be one-dimensional remains to be seen.
They do appear to be light on batting after the loss of Dewald Brevis to international duty. Their batting order could be a bit of a lottery.
Possible XI: Lewis, Fletcher, Rayudu, Rutherford, Bosch, Da Silva, Rutherford, Linde, Drakes, Cottrell, Thomas, Muzarabani
St Lucia Kings v St Kitts & Nevis Patriots pitch report
Warner Park is a solid venue for batters and bowlers. More than 160 is essentially an even money chance in the first dig with ten copping in the last 20. Over the same sequence there is even toss split. We would prefer to betting Tallawahs to bust a par line with the data as a guide as their batting is a known quantity.
St Lucia Kings v St Kitts & Nevis Patriots match odds
Tallawahs are 1.9310/11 with Patriots 2.0421/20. We're surprised that Tallawahs are not significant favourites for this match.
On form - remember they are the champions - and line-ups they should be shorter. As stated, Patriots are heavily reliant on that pace attack and they're hardly a clutch of economy bowlers. There are wicket-takers in there like Sheldon Cottrell but they could also be very pricey.
There are also doubts about their batting power. In our possible XI - the same they picked against Trinbago - they have only three specialist batters. Tallawahs should claim another win.
St Lucia Kings v St Kitts & Nevis Patriots player bets
Sportsbook rated Ambati Rayudu at 13/27.50 for top Patriots bat for their abandoned clash against TKR. We think he could bat at No 3 so if we get the same price we will play again. Keep an eye on Josh Da Silva's price, too. He could bat as high as No 4 so anything bigger than 8/19.00 could be wager. It's possible we could see a really big number.
