Trinbago Knight Riders may have to win each of their last three matches to squeeze into the play-offs. But five defeats in their last six suggest it is an extremely tall order for an ageing team.
The good news is that Justin Greaves is fit again. The bad news is that TKR used him in the middle order in defeat by Guyana Amazon Warriors when he scored the majority of his runs from the opening berth.
It could be argued that Trinbago's recruitment has been flawed, being overloaded with batters who want to bat in the opening slots; Colin Munro, Sunil Narine, Alex Hales and Greaves.
They may also be considered light in the pace department, not boasting international class. Instead they may deploy up to 16 overs of spin.
By contrast Falcons, who remain top of the table, have paired Alzarri Joseph and Jayden Seales with the ball. And they could still bowl 12 overs of spin. In short, Falcons are better balanced.

The inevitable run glut at Warner Park finally arrived. Punters have been waiting for the batters to dominate but a washout in the previous game meant it felt long overdue in Patriots versus Tridents on Wednesday.
