Guyana put their 100% record on the line against Patriots. A win will see them go top of the table with four games to play. Falcons, with one match left, can only reach a maximum of 13 points.
An upset would be huge for Patriots who appear to have rescued their season with back-to-back wins. If they were to pinch two points here they would be bang in the race for a play-off spot.
Warriors decided to rest Glen Phillips for their win last time out against Jamaica. Rahmanullah Gurbaz came in at the top of the order and top-scored with a fifty. It is entirely in keeping with Warriors' form. At this stage of the season they often decide to start messing around with the bating order and the balance of the team.
Dasun Shanaka hit the fastest CPL ton in their dismantling over St Lucia. Shanaka struck 121 from 43 as Pats amassed 235 for four. Jeremiah Louis, a right-arm quick, then took five wickets.
The match could be decided by how Pats' army of right-handed batters fare against Guyana's spinners. They are slated to have only two in the top seven with Kyle Mayers and Alick Athanazae the odd ones out. Mohammad Nabi and Kharry Pierre will spin the ball away from the right-handers for a probable eight overs. Pats are at least well set up to defend against Imran Tahir. His threat is likely to be reduced spinning the ball into the pads of RHBs.
With Nabi to the fore, then, and three wickets recently against TKR suggesting it's coming out nicely, he's not the worst idea in the world for a top bowler win at 9/25.50 with Betfair Sportsbook. If there's a tie between bowlers on number of wickets, the market will be settled by which bowler has conceded fewer runs. As stated previously, Providence is a pitch which heavily favours spinners over pace.

Barbados Tridents have four games left to save their season. Three wins will guarantee a top-four finish. Two with an improved net run rate could even be enough. The portents are not good. They have lost four in a row and were awful with the bat in defeat by Trinbago in their return to Bridgetown on Sunday.
They had bowled well to restrict Trinbago to just 147 with their spinners working nicely in tandem. Gudakesh Motie took three wickets and Mujeeb ur Rahman two. Moties bowled only two overs as TKR tried to attack but they had to after Mujeeb had put them in a vice, conceding just 22 from his four overs.
Tridents may need to make some big calls to try to revitalise their campaign. That could include dropping Brandon King and bringing Kadeem Alleyne into the top order. That would return Quinton de Kock to the opening slot. Sherfane Rutherford also has to take more responsibility. This is a familiar refrain. He was down at No 6.
Kings are similarly chastened, losing by 137 runs to patriots in their last meeting. John Campbell and Charith Asalanka at Nos 3 and 4 would be fine for a Test match. But not T20. Their balance is all wrong.
With doubts about both batting line-ups this has a feel for unders on runs. Sportsbook will offer total runs for each team for the match and the higher mark is the one to take, probably at 160.5. In-play extreme unders on the exchange is an option. There could be cheap lays for unders 120, 130 and 140.
