Market Rasen runner is the Sunday tip from Mr S

City Affair looks like he has a favourites chance at Market Rasen today in the 3.40. Last time out the selection ran well in defeat behind a horse held in high regard and he should find the opposition today more to his liking.T he stable is in flying form and his current price of [2.72] looks reasonable in this contest.

At Beverley today in the 2.55 Total Gallery will be a very popular choice after his great effort in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot last month behind Flashmans Papers. Today he should take this maiden and his current price of [2.3] looks appropriate.

In the opening race at Sandown (2.10) Intrepid Jack looks interesting in this Group 3 event. The selection has been a little unlucky this year with efforts at Haydock and more recently at Ascot in the Wokingham when he was hampered in-running. He has yet to win at this level but comes in to this race in peak form, and given luck during the race could go close.

At Sandown today in the 4pm the rapidly improving Bushman takes his chance in this valuable Listed event. David Simcock paid just 15,000gns for this gelded son of Maria's Mon at the sales last year but he has made giant strides in the last few months and was very impressive last time out at Sandown when winning a decent handicap easily. Today he has more to do but if he continues to improve he could go very close in this warm race.

At Newbury tonight in the 7.25 Cerito is entitled to go well in this very nice Listed event over six furlongs. Last time out the selection could not live with the very fast South Central over five furlongs at Royal Ascot and will appreciate the extra distance and the ease in grade. At present the selection is trading at [4.4] on the exchange.

Later on in the final race on the card at Newbury at 9pm Ordination should go very close in this maiden. On debut at Yarmouth he ran very well only beaten a neck by Amerigo with the pair clear of the remainder.Tonight he should be much sharper for the run and can land this maiden.

At Chepstow tonight in the opening race at 6.40 Gallagher can build on the promise he has shown and go close in this maiden.This son of Bahamian Bounty was sent off favourite at Newbury on debut but he needed the outing and finished in midfield behind Orizaba. Today the selection should improve for that run and has a very good chance in this event which lacks the depth of opposition he faced at Newbury.

At Lingfield tonight in the 6.30 Halaak is a horse that is of interest in both markets in this maiden on the Poly. The selection is by Harlan's Holiday who has made a very good start to his career at stud and has sired Dennis Of Cork who ran third in the Kentucky Derby and second in the Belmont Stakes. On debut the selection finished at the back of the field in a better race at Doncaster and should come on for that run and I do not think this race will take a lot of winning. She cost $120k as a yearling and is well related. At present Halaak is trading at [13.5] in the win market.

Green Lagonda looks to have a very good chance in Windsor's selling race over six furlongs at 7.10.

The selection has solid form in the book to be very competitive in this event and clearly did not stay last time out when finishing third to Royal Dignitary last time out. He will appreciate the return to six furlongs and is currently trading at [2.58] on the exchange.
