Off to Ponty for today's selection...

At Pontefract today I will be backing Enderby Spirit in the first race at Pontefract at 2.10. The selection was withdrawn from a race at Sandown the other day when he featured as my selection.As previously reported this colt by Invincible Spirit ran very well on debut when finishing second to Lucky Art at Thirsk at the beginning of the month .In addition the selection is entered in some decent races later on in the year and should go close in this contest. At present the selection is trading at [3.15] on the exchange.

Saturday's selection:

At Newbury today in the 3.15 Paco Boy should go very close in this Group 2 event. Last time out he put up a very smart effort in beating Stimulation at Goodwood by a neck. He is a seven furlong specialist who needs some give in the ground so will have his optimum racing conditions today. At present he is trading at [2.62] on the exchange.

Friday's selection:

At Newbury today in the opening race at 1.20 Nasri should go close in this maiden.The selection has run well in defeat notably when failing by a head behind a fair sort at Leicester with a long way back to the third.Today his experience will be a big benefit to this well bred son of Kyllachy and he should handle the ground conditions which are likely to be quite testing for these youngsters.

At Sandown today in the 4pm I will be having an interest in Emirates Lady in this maiden.This beautifully bred filly by the great Unbridled's Song comes in to this race with two runs under her belt and finished a fair fourth to Provence at Salisbury last time out.Today she faces a rival in Censored that will probably go off at odds on so she should be fair price at post time.

At Sandown in the opening race at 5.35 Enderby Spirit should go well in this maiden.This colt by Invincible Spirit ran very well on debut when finishing second to Lucky Art at Thirsk at the beginning of the month .He kept on well that day and will enjoy the stiffer track tonight. In addition he is well regarded and holds a big race entry later on this year.

At Nottingham today in the 6.25 Crackdown looks to have found a decent opportunity to get off the mark in this contest. Last time out at HQ he ran his heart out finishing a brave second to Rileyskeepingfaith in a fair maiden. The selection will be a short price today so a early price is recommended.Currently the selection is trading at 1.77 which appears reasonable.

At Windsor tonight in the 6.20 Satwa Laird is a very interesting runner in this maiden over six furlongs.This former 80/20 selection ran well on debut finishing third to Damien in July over this course. As previously reported this son of champion two-year-old Johannesburg holds some very good engagements later on this year and should show enough improvement tonight to go very close in this contest.At present the selection is trading at 3.45 on the exchange.
