With a profit of 25 points so far, can Wayne continue his festival success? Read his tips for Saturday here...
So far so good, but there's still two days to go in the longest racing festival on these isles.
If you've made a decent profit thus far, you may wish to consider sticking some of that in your metaphorical back pocket, just so you can say you came out on top. There are still 14 races left, so careful staking is very much on the agenda.
But that's enough preaching for now; let's get on with the show! ...
2:30 - Jockeys Association Maiden Hurdle
How come those that organise the racing fixtures never ease into proceedings with a simple race? Nope, instead we've got a big field maiden hurdle to kick things off instead!
Not to worry, as Dermot Weld (described by Matt Chapman as Galway's cash machine no less!) can get the ball rolling with Noble Crusader. He'd been away for some time, but looked fit and well on Tuesday when coming third in a similar race, and a quick return may be just what the doctor ordered.
Advice: Back Noble Crusader
3:00 - Low Low Galway Blazers Handicap Chase
Punters are slow to lose prejudices, and there are still plenty of people out there that don't feel comfortable backing female jockeys over obstacles. Such prejudices often see decent horses go off at higher prices than they should. One such horse is Bauhaus, a reliable sort who's rarely out of the frame, and Nina Carberry should be able to nip a place at least. Reisk Superman however, is the clear form choice, and Tony Martin's ten-year-old can defy top weight and have his second win of the week.
Advice: Back Reisk Superman to win, and Bauhaus to place.
3:35 - Freshways Handicap Hurdle
A tricky race that I'm not keen to get involved in. A good case could be made for most of these and the market may prove interesting. Truckers Delight will run for the third time this week, and how much he has left in the tank is anyone's guess. Waittillitellyou has performed well at this level and gets a token vote to place. However, the money stays safely in my Betfair account for this.
Advice: No Bet
4:05 - Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Premier Nursery
An interesting little race, and I simply can't make up my mind between the Aidan O'Brien-trained Gluteus Maximus, and Dermot Weld's horse Medicio. The former has room for improvement after a successful maiden at Leopardstown recently, and the latter looked strong and speedy when breaking the maiden tag at Listowel. It'll be a short price overall, but I'm going to have both running for me rather than choose one over the other.
Advice: Dutch Gluteus Maximus and Medicio.
4:35 - Cheestrings Handicap
This is definitely one of those races that deplete the betting pot, and I'm finding it difficult to make a strong case for any horse. Time for a Kit Kat!
Advice: No Bet
5:05 - Dawn Juice European Breeders Fund Maiden
Not very original, but Weld has won this race numerous times in the past decade, and the word on the street is that Dark Humour has been specifically aimed at this race. His fifth place on his debut was encouraging, and he looks like an improver.
Advice: Back Dark Humour
5:35 - Kerrymaid Festival INH Flat Race
Another big field bumper with little or no form. There's no point in having a bet just to have some action, so my money will be saved for tomorrow.
Advice: No Bet

Definitely a day for the layers, as a few long-shots go in. That puts a dent in the profit unfortunately, but my head is still above water with 20pts profit for the festival.
The very capable Niall Cronin files for day seven, so that's it from Galway from me.
