'No' is the favourite in early trading on Betfair market

Betfair have opened a market on whether the Scoop6 will be won tomorrow, and "No" is the early favourite at 8-11, with "Yes" available at 6-5.

The market will be settled as "Yes" if a Scoop6 win fund dividend is declared by the Tote, and it will be turned in-play at the start of the first of the six races, and suspended at the start of the final race.

Betfair spokesman Tony Calvin commented: "We hope that this market proves popular with our customers, and the fact that we will be offering it in-running will add to the interest.

"Lack of liquidity is often cited as a negative on novelty markets such as these - indeed, I note that one bookmaker withdrew an Arc special last week after it apparently failed to attract a single bet - but that shouldn't deter Betfair punters.

"Exchange betting is all about requesting prices and leaving orders so customers, present and future, should bear that in mind.

"One thing is for certain - if you don't ask, you don't get."

Current betting: 8-11 No, 6-5 Yes.
