The Epsom Classics take centre stage this weekend and we caught up with Michael Jarvis and Ralph Beckett to discuss their Oaks runners, as well as the pick of their other chances at the meeting.

I have been very happy with her since her maiden win at Sandown and she goes for the Oaks [Friday, 16:05 Epsom] fit and very well. There is obviously a slight concern about her lack of experience for a race of this class at a track like this but she is definitely good enough. Circumstances have contrived against her since she came to us - she was injured last year and spent most of the summer back at the farm and since she came back into training in January, she has been beset by niggles. It isn't ideal to go to Epsom with just one run but I have always thought a great deal of her.

His handicap form has stood up well and although this is step up in class [Epsom, 16:50 Friday], he would have an each-way chance. He is a handy horse who should be suited by the track and although he has a bit to find, I can see him running well.

He is a quick horse and he is drawn wider than ideal this time [Epsom, 17:25 Friday]. There are a few drawn inside him that are pretty sharp and I am a bit worried that he might get hassled early on. That said, his Lingfield win was impressive, the form has worked out and he would have each-way claims.

He had a hefty rise for his win at Lingfield last time and it won't be easy trying to win a classy handicap off 9-10 [Epsom, 15:25 Friday], but he looks fantastic at the moment. He has plenty of pace and should be able to hold a good position, but this will be a tough task.

I am assured that there is good, safe ground at Goodwood and if that is the case then he will run in the Listed race [Friday, 19:20]. He hasn't run since early April and if he is going to have pretensions to run at Ascot, I need to get a run into him. He is a lazy worker at home and he is giving me all the signs that he is ready to go.

He runs in the Derby but I am not convinced about his stamina for a strongly run 1m4f. He's a good horse in his own right but if he were to finish in the first five or six then I would be delighted.

She'll stay the trip and is in good nick ahead of the Oaks [Friday 16:05, Epsom] but I just worry about whether she will be quite good enough. She is a completely different type to Look Here - she works much better than Look Here ever did - but Epsom was her track [Look Here] and she came alive there. I think she will run well and has worked well but I couldn't be confident.

He has Brian Meehan's to beat [Youm Jamil] but it was a good first run at Newmarket and he will like the fast ground at Bath [Friday, 21:05]. He will probably second favourite but I would be very hopeful that he would improve for that first start and should run a big race.

There was no explanation for her poor run at Newmarket on her seasonal reappearance. She was working well prior to the race and I expected a big run and she was just very flat. Her work since has been very good and I think she will run well [Doncaster, Friday 19:10] but, having thought that last time, I couldn't be overly confident.

He has won here in the past, likes the track and I think that 1m4f is his game these days. He will come on for the run [Epsom, Saturday 16:55] but I am very happy with him at home and he should run well.

I just have it in the back of my mind that this track might suit him well and he has a decent draw in stall seven. The step back up to 6f should be in his favour [Epsom, Saturday 17:20] and I am expecting a very big run from him.

The bare form of Sajjhaa's Sandown maiden win leaves her with plenty to find upped to Group 1 company but Eswarah won this on her third start for the yard and Noushkey was runner-up after just two career starts to boot. She is open to stacks of improvement and in a year in which there doesn't look to be an outstanding candidate, it wouldn't be a surprise to see her go close.

Linnens Star shaped very well on his debut and with Youm Jamil having to put a disappointing run behind him, there shouldn't be as much between the pair as the market is likely to suggest.
