Tiger Woods speaks at today's press conference
Betfair customers convinced of a major-less year for the world's best golfer
Tiger Woods refused to name a date for his return to the golfing fray at his much-awaited press conference this afternoon.
In a long speech, the world's best golfer apologised for the affairs that nearly ended his marriage and vowed to return at once for more therapy to cure his sex-addiction.
But speaking on when he will next take part in tournament golf he said: "I do plan to return to golf one day. I just don't know when that day will be.
"I don't rule out that it will be this year. When I do return I need to make my behaviour more respectful to the game."
Betfair customers have been betting on how many majors Woods will win this year and and 'no majors' hit a new low following the revelations, trading at a low of [1.39].
