Aussie star and world no. 4 storms through the field during final round in Qatar
Adam Scott was matched at a high of [70.0] to win the Qatar Masters after blitzing a world class field with an astonishing final round on the desert course.
The Australian smashed in 11 birdies - including five on the first five holes - to hit a course record 61.
But those highs seemed far away when Scott, who can seem disinterested during play, was putting together a poor front nine during the second round to leave himself one over par through two rounds when everyone else was making birdies.
Then, of course, came that wonderful closing 18.
Out tipster TQ had another fine week. Pre-tournament pick Johan Edfors hit a low of 3.3 for the win after touching 300 before battle commenced - a fine trading proposition.
Other notable low trades included Henrik Stenson - second placed for the second week in succession - at [2.86] and young South African Charl Schwartzel at [3.65].
