French win on European Tour for the second week in succession
Frenchman Gregory Bourdy denied David Howell at the third playoff hole of the Estoril Open to land the tournament having touched odds of [150.0] on Betfair
Howell looked set fair for victory after going into the clubhouse on 18 under and subsequently trading at a low of [1.31]. Howell was backed at [190.0] to win.
The duo were joined in the playoff by Alastair Forsyth but the Scotsman drove into a bush on the second hole to bow out. Forsyth, winner of the Madeira Open two weeks ago, touched [2.4] in the betting.
Other notable lows include South African Charl Schwartzel at [2.2] and Englishman Miles Tunnicliff at [2.88].
