Five Reel Slot - Hole In One

Objective

Hole In One is a wild card, bonus slot game with 2 modes of play, regular and bonus. A slot game with five reels and nine pay lines is used.

In regular play, the goal is to achieve a winning combination of symbols on the game's reels, along any of 9 possible pay lines. You can select any or all of the pay lines, and bet up to 5 credits on each one.

The bonus game allows you to multiply your winnings many, many times over. If a winning combination of bonus symbols appears during regular play, the bonus feature starts.

How to Play

1. Select Credit Value.

Use the + and - keys to adjust your Credit Value (the coin denomination being used).

The Credits field shows your balance, converted into the credit value you have selected. For example, if your balance is 1000.00 and you select a credit value of 1.00, the credit display will show 1000 credits (worth 1.00 each). With the same 1000.00 balance, if you select a credit value of 2.00, the credit display will show 500 credits (worth 2.00 each).

2. Place Bets

Click on any of the circles to place a 1-credit bet on that payline. You can bet up to 5 credits on each payline, for a maximum total of 45 credits per spin.

Bet Nine - Places a 1-credit bet on each of the 9 pay lines each time it's clicked.

Bet Max - Places a 5-credit bet on each of the 9 pay lines and spins the reels.

Spin - Spins the reels.

Same Spin - Repeats last bet and spins the reels. If you change your bet, it will change back to Spin.

Clear - Removes all bets.

Regular Play

All winning patterns for regular play begin with a symbol on the left-most reel, and continue left to right, along the pay line.

NOTE: The symbols must be beside each other with no other symbols in between them in order to win.

You can view the payouts and each winning combination by clicking the Pays button.

Pay Lines

These are the nine possible pay lines:

Note that some squares are used in more than one pay line. Since the golf ball symbols win even if there is only one of them, having one of these symbols in, for example, the bottom left-most corner means you will win 3 times, for pay lines 3, 5, and 9.

Payout amounts vary depending on a) what the symbol is b) how many symbols are in a row - 3, 4, or 5 (or in the case of any of the golf ball symbols - 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5).

Wild Cards

The wild golf ball symbol is a wild card symbol.

This means that in addition to paying out on 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 wild golf balls (from left to right), this symbol is also used to complete combinations that use the other golf ball symbols.

For example, if you have 2 sand trap golf balls and 1 wild golf ball beside each other, starting at the left-most reel on a pay line, you will win the payout for 3 sand trap golf balls.

3. Bonus Feature Activation

There are 3 different bonus feature symbols in Hole In One. If three or more of the same bonus symbols appear on adjacent reels (beside each other with no other symbols in between them), a bonus feature is activated.

NOTE: Bonus symbols DO NOT have to start at the left-most position or share a pay line.

The Mad and Bonk Scatter bonus symbols calculate the bonus automatically. If you get 3 or more of these symbols, a pop up window appears and the amount of your bonus will be automatically revealed.

If you get this bonus symbol, you will enter the Hole In One bonus feature.

Twelve golf courses are displayed. Each course is worth a Bonus Multiplier of 5x, 2x or 1x, depending on if you place Eagle, Birdie or Par (this is randomly selected by the system - you do not have to do anything). The Bonus Multipliers increase the final amount won. One of the courses will say Out of Bounds - Collect when clicked. The goal is to click on the highest number of Bonus Multipliers possible before the Collect course is selected. However, if you click on the Collect course first, you win ALL the Bonus Multipliers.

The bonus feature ends when Collect is picked, and then all Bonus Multipliers that were picked are added together. For example, if you picked the courses as shown above and then clicked Collect, your Bonus Multiplier number would be 12.

Calculating The Bonus

Bonuses consist of 3 multipliers which are combined to determine how many bonus credits are to be awarded.

Credits Played x Win Multiplier x Bonus Multiplier = Bonus Credits won.

Credits Played - Number of credits played on the spin that triggered the bonus (1 to 45).

Win Multiplier - Number of reel bonus symbols that triggered the bonus

Bonus Multiplier - Number of multipliers uncovered in the bonus round (1 to 20).

A bonus game will pay from 1 to 2700 credits - Coins Played (1-45) x Win Multipliers (1-3) x Bonus Multipliers (1-20).

The Scatter bonus features also use the same formula to calculate your bonus, except that the Bonus Multiplier is randomly selected and calculated instantly. Therefore, although the number seems to be randomly generated, your bonus will still be larger if you bet more credits and get more Win Multipliers.

Once all the multipliers have been determined, they are tabulated and displayed in the Bonus Round Summary. In the example below, the player got 5 bonus symbols for a Win Multiplier of 3, and clicked on Bonus Multipliers that added up to 18, and bet 45 credits on the spin that triggered the bonus round. The total number of credits won is 2430 (3 x 18 x 45). The amount this is worth in actual money depends on how much each credit is worth.

Click on Return To Game to go back to the regular game.

Game Options

Go to Main Menu - Options to bring up the following menu:

Graphic Quality: You can change this to Low if you are experiencing slowdowns in play because of your computer's processing abilities. Note: Slowdowns in play can also be the result of Internet-related issues such as peak usage periods.

Sound FX: This turns the game sounds (such as the beeps when you click on the buttons) on and off.

Load Ambient Sound: This will turn on the sounds of a normal casino, such as people talking in the background. (These sounds are very quiet compared to the other sounds.)
