US Racing Tracks
Charles Town
The main dirt track is six furlongs in circumference. There is no turf racing. This small tracks "bullring" design is unique in that it has a small perimeter, tight turns and a short stretch.
Delta Downs
The main track is a 6f oval with two chutes. 550-yard (QH) 1 1/16-mile (TB) chute; 5f chute. The track surface is a mixture of sand (from the Sabine River) and clay with a limestone base. There is no turf course. The field size maximum is 10.
Emerald Downs
The main dirt track is a traditional one mile dirt oval. There is no turf racing.
Evangeline Downs
The main dirt track is a 1-mile conventional oval. The turf course is 7 furlongs.
Fort Erie
The main dirt track is one mile in circumference. The turf course is 7 furlongs inside the main course.
Hawthorne
The track has a one-mile dirt oval and a seven-furlong turf oval. The main track home stretch is 1,320 feet, the second longest in the country behind Los Alamitos.
Louisiana Downs
The Main Track is a traditional one mile oval with one-and-a-quarter and 7/8 chutes; distance from last turn to finish, 1,010 feet; width of stretch and backstretch, 80 feet. The Franks Turf Course is seven furlongs and 50 feet; distance from last turn to finish, 940 feet; width of stretch and backstretch, 70 feet.
Meadowlands
A one-mile oval dirt track based in New Jersey on the East Coast.
Monmouth Park
One-mile dirt oval with chutes for six-furlong and 1¼-mile races. The turf course is seven furlongs, with a diagonal chute for races between 1-mile and 1⅛-miles.
Mountaineer Park
A main oval dirt track that's 1-1/8 miles long. The turf course is 1-mile long.
Penn National
It consists of a one mile (1.6 km) dirt track and a seven-furlong turf course.
Prairie Meadows
The main dirt track is a one mile dirt oval with a six-furlong and 1 ¼-mile chute. The track also features a chute specifically for Quarter horseracing.
Presque Isle Downs
The 1 mile oval main track is a synthetic Tapeta surface which is made up of a mixture of sand, rubber, and fiber with a wax coating.
Remington Park
The main dirt track is one mile in circumference with the inner turf course measuring seven furlongs.
Ruidoso Downs
The main dirt track is 7 furlongs. The dedicated Quarter Horse track is 550 yards.
Sam Houston Race Park
The main track is a one mile dirt oval and the turf course is seven furlongs.
Turfway Park
The main synthetic Polytrack is one mile in circumference.
Will Rogers Downs
The main track is a 1 mile dirt oval.
Woodbine
One-mile Tapeta oval. The E. P. Taylor turf course is 1-1/2 miles with a 1-1/8 mile chute. The layout is unique since the main track is located inside the turf course.
Zia Park
The track is a 1-mile traditional dirt oval.
