World Darts Betting Tips for Day 12
Abigail Davies brings you her World Darts Betting Tips for Day 12

A number of heavy scorers and bright young stars of the game return to action on Monday, with more and more eyes on Charlie Manby.

  • Luke Humphries is now 5/16.00 to reclaim the Sid Waddell trophy

  • Doets to prevail against a man who's already made history

  • Charlie Manby lived up to the billing in his opener

In a tournament that has produced plenty of cagey and edgy encounters, seeds tumble and cult heroes born, it is still Luke Littler who remains many people's favourite to experience back-to-back glory at the Palace at 10/111.91 with Gerwyn Price available at 12/113.00

History maker returns

David Munyua had never been outside of Africa prior to this World Championship campaign and now he is a cult hero here in North London thanks to one of the greatest comebacks and upsets this tournament has ever seen.

Having trailed former World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker by two sets to nil, you could forgive the majority for believing that it was going to be a valiant attempt from the first Kenyan to grace the Ally Pally stage, but ultimately one that was going to end in a straight sets defeat.

With the crowd on his side, he managed to not only deal with the occasion and nerves but also two remarkable miscounts that saw him take out 91 when he required 99 and 125 when he was looking for a 135.

As for his opponent Kevin Doets, he has been involved in some box office battles of his own in this event in recent times. He's reached a semi-final and a few other quarters on the floor in 2025 and should have too much for his opponent.

We've seen with a number of the debutants who've never experienced anything like this occasion before, they've struggled to get near repeating the feat in their following match.

I think Munyua could be good for a set but not much else so I'm backing over 3.5 sets at 11/102.11

Manby to build on his opening win on the Ally Pally stage

Having previously seen Charlie Manby compete in a number of floor tournaments and at the Modus Super Series, there was little doubt in my mind that he would settle and adapt well to playing on the Ally Pally stage.

As expected, he took to the challenge and performed admirably under pressure despite being in a situation up on a big stage that would have been completely new to him.

His ability, demeanour and attitude make him an incredible prospect and what's even more exciting is that he has so much more to give and gears to go through in this tournament.

Adam Sevada also enjoyed debut delight but his performance wasn't quite as spectacular and based on the ceiling of the two players, I'm backing Champagne Charlie to win, hit the most 180s and highest checkout at 23/103.30
