Jonny Clayton and Luke Littler remain the only two players to have booked their places at The O2's Premier League of Darts finals night. Gerwyn Price took a step closer to joining them by picking up another couple of points in Aberdeen last week.
Luke Humphries will be hoping that fellow Leeds United fans can inspire him to a first nightly win of the campaign tonight in Yorkshire. A run to the final last week was an incredibly timely one and means he still has a very realistic chance of a top four finish.
The Iceman, a former finalist in this competition, is 11/26.50 to become champion on 28 May.
Cool Hand to claim more points
This might finally be the night that Luke Humphries goes all the way and claims five points. It would have seemed unthinkable at the start of the campaign that the world number two and reigning champion would be one of the three stars not to have claimed a nightly win at this stage of the competition. Having reached just a second final last time out, though, I think he could enjoy even more success on his favourite night of the 16.
Humphries will take a lot of confidence from his run to the final in Scotland and, even though the 2024 World Champion is well aware that time is running out, there were plenty of positives to take from his three performances.
Changing pace, he looked a lot more controlled and composed, throwing a little slower, and it's a change he believes will help fire him to finals night.
Humphries has twice before played in Leeds, winning on both occasions, and he is 4/15.00 to win here again.
Back Luke Humphries to win the night
I'm also backing Humphries to win the match, hit the. most 180s and highest checkout at the boosted price of 7/24.50.

MvG might fall
Michale van Gerwen was the only Premier League player present for the Players Championship events in Hildesheim earlier this week. Despite some decent performances, he failed to advance beyond the Last 32 on either of the two days.
Despite currently occupying fourth spot, he was underwhelming to say the least in Aberdeen last week and that might explain why he opted to play in the floor events.
While I think ultimately he'll be the player to drop out of the top four, if Humphries is able to make his move, there were positives to take from MvG's performances earlier this week. He and Luke Littler could put on a show when they go head-to-head for the sixth time this Premier League campaign.
The Nuke has won the last four and there's no value in backing him outright in this one but I like the look of six 180s in the match and one or more bull finishes at 3/14.00.
