Lingfield, 13:00 - 'Horse In Focus' Lord Harcourt did well to win last time
Lord Harcourt, making his first start since being gelded, showed much-improved form to get off the mark over this course and distance last time, overcoming unfavourable circumstances to do so.
Lord Harcourt was shuffled back after a couple of furlongs and ended up further off the slow pace than ideal, but he picked up strongly in the straight and deserves credit for overhauling the front runner and getting the verdict by a head.
The winning margin may have been narrow but sectional times show that Lord Harcourt can have his effort upgraded, and he was awarded the Horse In Focus Flag by Timeform's reporter to mark him out as one likely to be of firm interest next time. He should have more to offer and looks up to defying a 4 lb rise in the weights.

Lingfield, 13:30 - Top-rated Clearpoint can strike again
Clearpoint registered back-to-back victories over this course and distance and then underlined his wellbeing by completing the hat-trick at Wolverhampton last month.
Clearpoint is a speedy sort and proved far too sharp for his rivals at Wolverhampton where he looked in control turning into the straight and was never seriously threatened on his way to winning by a length.
That was a career-best effort on Timeform's figures and a 4 lb rise in the weights should not be enough to stop him extending the winning sequence to four. He heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 3 lb.

Punchestown, 15:05 - 'Horse In Focus' King Bob open to improvement
King Bob didn't get very far on his handicap debut - he unseated rider at the second at Downpatrick - but he shaped well when third at Tramore last time, leaving the impression that he's started off on a handy mark.
He kept on well without managing to get on terms with the first two who were favoured by being ridden more prominently, but it was an encouraging effort and earned him Timeform's Horse In Focus Flag.
That form has worked out well as the first two home have both won since, and the unexposed King Bob, who still has the Timeform 'small p' to show he's likely to improve, is one to be interested in.
