Kempton, 18:00 - Top-rated Lerwick can take advantage of reduced mark
Lerwick is on a losing run of 16 that stretches back to August 2024, but he has been given a chance by the handicapper and gave a hint he's ready to cash in on his reduced mark when finishing third over this course and distance last month.
He was beaten less than a length on that occasion, producing his best effort for a while, and that provides a solid platform he can build on.
He's now 6 lb below the mark he defied at Beverley in 2024 for his former yard, while even a reproduction of his best effort for this yard - when finishing a close-up fifth here in May - would leave him looking well treated. He heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 2 lb and represents a trainer in Mark Loughnane who has the Hot Trainer Flag to highlight the yard's good form.

Kempton, 19:00 - Top-rated Rajinoora has strong form
Rajinoora stepped up on her previous efforts when getting off the mark on her second start in handicap company at Epsom in July, and she then produced an even better effort in defeat on her return from a 19-week break at Chelmsford last month.
Rajinoora was a big price on her return to action but made good headway in the straight and found only one too strong. That form was then given a boost when the thriving winner went on to register a cosy success at Wolverhampton.
Rajinoora remains fairly treated after edging up 2 lb in the weights, particularly as she's on an upward curve and could still have a bit more to offer, and she comes out 2 lb clear at the head of Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings.

Kempton, 20:00 - Ryan Kavanagh a Jockey Uplift for Fiddlers Green
Fiddlers Green ran well when third at Leicester on his final start of the turf campaign and then posted arguably an even better effort when runner-up here last month.
He was only narrowly denied by a progressive three-year-old and that form was given a boost when the winner went on to comfortably follow up at Wolverhampton only a few days later.
Fiddlers Green has a 3 lb higher mark to deal with here but still looks fairly treated - he narrowly heads Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings - and he will have the assistance of good-value 5 lb claimer Ryan Kavanagh whose booking has generated Timeform's Jockey Uplift Flag.
