There is all-weather racing at Newcastle on Tuesday

Timeform highlight three horses of interest at Kelso and Newcastle on Tuesday all available at odds-against on the Betfair Sportsbook...

13:55, Kelso - More to come from Eagles Reprieve up in trip

Eagles Reprieve has a stout pedigree - among his relations is Welsh National winner Secret Reprieve - and he relished testing conditions when making a winning debut in a bumper at Wetherby last season.

He was well in control that day and, while he's been expensive to follow over hurdles so far, he has filled the runner-up spot each time, and the form of those races looks pretty solid.

Eagles Reprieve has been beaten by a Nicky Henderson newcomer, a next-time out winner, and another promising newcomer from his stable on his recent reappearance at this course.

He now moves up to two and a half miles for the first time, which is sure to suit, and in a race which perhaps hasn't as much depth, it looks an excellent opportunity for him to go one place better.

15:45, Newcastle - Prince Quattro capable from this mark

Prince Quattro is yet another horse who James Owen has managed to improve, winning a couple of starts over hurdles since joining the yard, while he was also a good second in that sphere at Cheltenham recently, too.

He shaped particularly well on his handicap debut on the Flat over a mile and three quarters at Southwell last time, too, the furthest he's been on the level and only just failing to prevail.

That race wasn't run at a great pace, and the way he shaped suggests he'll be suited by this even stiffer test of stamina, especially at a galloping track like Newcastle, and he's fancied to go one place better racing from the same mark.

17:15, Newcastle - Unassuming can follow up

Unassuming has done well since joining George Boughey from the Joseph O'Brien yard, winning five times in all, with three of those coming on the all-weather.

She wasn't seen to best effect over a mile at this course two starts back and built on that effort when resuming winning ways over an extended mile at Wolverhampton last month, overcoming a pace bias and value for extra on top of the bare margin as a result - she also earned the Horse In Focus Flag.

Unassuming drops back to seven furlongs now, but that shouldn't pose much of a problem over a stiff, straight seven furlongs at this track, and a strong pace forecast will also suit her claims of following up under this good-value claimer.
