Bath, 15:10 - Top-rated Miss Attitude has solid claims
Miss Attitude failed to beat a rival in this listed event last season after meeting trouble on several occasions, but she went on to prove herself a smart performer when landing a listed race at Deauville in August.
Only Beautiful Diamond has shown a comparable level of form, but that rival must carry a penalty so Miss Attitude is the one to beat on these terms, heading Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 4 lb.
Miss Attitude also has the benefit of race fitness on her side as she posted a respectable effort when mid-division in a Southwell handicap on her return a couple of weeks ago and should be sharper with that under her belt.

Plumpton, 16:05 - 'Horse In Focus' Mondo Man capable of even better
Mondo Man won the prestigious Imperial Cup at Sandown last month and looks up to bagging another valuable handicap in the Sussex Champion Hurdle.
He had shaped well when finishing fourth on his handicap debut at Ascot in December, travelling well under a patient ride but ultimately failing to land a blow in a stop-start race in which the winner made all. However, he raised his game markedly when allowed to stride on in the Imperial Cup, responding positively to the change of tactics.
Mondo Man impressed with how he powered through the race and looked set to register a wide-margin win only for an awkward landing at the last to cause his rider to lose his irons. He was ultimately ridden out to score by a length and a half, but that margin undersells his dominance and he was awarded the Horse In Focus Flag by Timeform's reporter to mark him out as one likely to be of firm interest next time. He also still has the Timeform 'small p' to denote he's capable of better form.
In between those handicap efforts Mondo Man had run out a wide-margin winner of a maiden hurdle over this course and distance which earned him Timeform's 'Horses For Courses' Flag.

Fairyhouse, 17:00 - 'Horse In Focus' Kappa Jy Pyke is an exciting prospect
Kappa Jy Pyke was well beaten in a couple of Grade 1s over hurdles last season but has quickly developed into a much better chaser and can make his mark at the top level over fences.
He instantly improved on his hurdling form when beating talented stablemate Salvator Mundi on his chasing debut at Thurles in November and then took another big step forward to win a Grade 3 at Punchestown in January.
He deserves plenty of credit for that three-and-a-half-length success as he was held up last in a steadily-run race but was able to sustain his effort and surge into the lead on the run-in. That performance earned him Timeform's Horse In Focus Flag and the form looks just about the best on offer, with Kappa Jy Pyke heading Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings by 2 lb. He also still has the Timeform 'small p'.
