Ryan Moore has a full book of seven rides on the final day of the York Ebor Festival

Ryan Moore rounds of York Ebor Festival week with a full book of seven rides on Saturday, including having a great chance of riding the winner of the meeting's feature handicap...

  • Classy Nostrum fancied to resume winning ways

  • Real Dream can go well in Ebor despite wide draw

  • Hoping Ehraz can stamp his Group class in handicap

13:50 - Nostrum

Given his knock in the spring that ruled him out of the Guineas, we were obviously delighted with him at Newmarket, and the placed horses have franked that form since. Of course, we would have liked him to follow up at Goodwood last time but that is strong form too, with the winner suited by coming back to a mile, and this offers Nostrum a very good chance of returning to winning ways.

14:25 - Denmark

We haven't seen him since the Ballysax on heavy ground in early April, but we are obviously happy with him now, so he takes his chance off a mark of 97. That looks fair enough on his two juvenile starts for me, a debut win at Naas and a better run in defeat in France, and his pedigree suggests this Camelot colt is well worth trying at the trip. Hopefully, the blinkers will help, too.

15:00 - Mutasaabeq

I'm not sure why he ran below par in the Queen Anne last time but he certainly has a fair chance in this at his best, for all it looks a very strong Group 2. He goes well off a break, so the fact that this is his first run since Royal Ascot is a positive, and he was very good when winning at Newmarket first time up, with his fifth in the Lockinge next time a fair effort. I can see the drop to 7f suiting, as well.

15:35 - Real Dream

He got hit pretty hard for his Ascot win last month but he was very good that day, while he also ran well for me here in May. He is obviously lightly-raced with a very good pedigree, and hopefully he can show there is some mileage in his revised mark of 99. I can see him going well, but you don't need me to tell you how deep a handicap this is. His wide draw is not ideal, but it is what it is.

16:10 - Ehraz

I wouldn't necessarily say a mark of 105 is generous for his handicap debut but he has probably earned it, especially on his efforts at three. He has been running okay in a better grade than this and hopefully he can stamp his Group class on this field.

16:45 - Alabama

He is still a maiden but he has been knocking on the door since his Windsor Castle fifth, and his second-placed efforts at Tipperary and the Curragh give him a winning shot at this. The Molecomb runner-up Purosangue is the obvious one to beat.

17:20 - Haunted Dream

He ran very well here in July and again ran a very good race when second at Goodwood last time. He is now up to a career high mark of 101 and would possibly like a bit of rain, but of course he has his chance in his current nick.
