Will you follow the Timeform selections for Friday at Royal Ascot?

It's quickly onto the fourth day of Royal Ascot for the racing experts at Timeform, and they've come up with a trio of selections including a hot selection in the Commonwealth Cup

15:05 Royal Ascot - Last year's Albany winner Venetian Sun clear top in Commonwealth Cup

Some massive fields and short-priced favourites hardly make for a punter-friendly card on Friday, but Venetian Sun stands out in the Timeform weight-adjusted ratings in the Commonwealth Cup.

Karl Burke's filly found the trip too far in the 1000 Guineas but maintained her unbeaten record back at six furlongs with a most impressive win in the Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock last time, earning the Horse In Focus flag.

Sprinting looked her game at two, when her wins included the Albany Stakes on this day last year, and the Prix Morny when beating future Irish 2000 Guineas winner Gstaad, and she's very much the one to beat.

15:40 Royal Ascot - Hopewell Rock's form boosted earlier in the week

Our idea of the best bet in one of the handicaps is Hopewell Rock for George Boughey and Wathnan Racing in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes.

A lightly-raced four-year-old, he ran some good races when placed in handicaps last season and made an encouraging reappearance when a keeping on third at Newmarket on 2000 Guineas day.

Hopewell Rock earned the Horse In Focus flag as he was asked to come from much further back than the first two, Daiquiri Bay and Gamrai, who have advertised that form by also fighting out the finish of the Copper Horse Stakes earlier in the week.

17:35 Royal Ascot - Water To Wine can remain unbeaten

Water To Wine was taken out of the Derby after a temperature caused him to miss the Chester Vase, but John & Thady's Gosden's exciting colt can keep his unbeaten record in the King Edward VII Stakes.

The son of Kingman was very impressive when winning a maiden at Newbury on his debut in April and then followed up by a wide margin under just hands and heels in a novice at Kempton last month.

As well as heading the Timeform ratings, Water To Wine has the 'large P' on his rating, meaning he's considered capable of considerable improvement, and looks a fascinating runner pitched into pattern company.

Timeform's Day 4 Royal Ascot double

Back Venetian Sun (15:05 Royal Ascot), Hopewell Rock (15:40 Royal Ascot) and Water To Wine (17:35 Royal Ascot) in a win treble

Betfair is offering Bet £10 Get £10 on Multis, and the multi that makes the most appeal is a win treble consisting of ratings stand-out Venetian Sun, unexposed handicapper Hopewell Rock and exciting prospect Water To Wine.

Venetian Sun is unbeaten over six furlongs, Hopewell Rock's form had a boost earlier in the week, while Water To Wine has plenty of potential.
