Went the wrong way in bumpers following a winning start last season and not for the first time finished tamely returning from 8 months off when a well held second of 11 in maiden hurdle at Fontwell (19.1f) 26 days ago. Drop back to 2m can likely see him in a better light.

Timeform Verdict

ZAMEK shaped with definite promise when third on his only start in bumpers for Paul Nicholls last spring and, having joined another leading stable ahead of his return/hurdles debut, he could well be worth chancing to come out on top. Coolkatie is another hurdles debutante to note for the Skelton yard, as is Kosac d'Oudairies who was a wide-margin winner of a small-field Ffos Las bumper when last seen.
