Business as usual after flooding at Ditcheat

Wincanton are hopeful racing goes ahead
-
Individualiste good chance to win again
As of 10am on Friday, Paul Nicholls still hopes to take four runners to Wincanton on Saturday even though he was forced to evacuate horses from Ditcheat stables due to flooding on Thursday night.
He said: " There was unbelievable amounts of rain in Somerset last night. The river burst its banks and we had a major flood in the yard at about 10pm last night. We had to evacuate six horses.
"Unbelievably, this morning the rain has gone and we have got the horses back in their boxes. The gallops are fine and it is business as usual. If they get Wincanton on tomorrow, and I'm told they are hopeful, they will have done really well."

Individualiste is best chance of Wincanton four
Paddy de Pole kicks things off for Paul at Wincanton on Saturday.
Paul said: "This is a competitive looking race. Paddy de Pole needs to get experience. I think he has it all to do here.
Magic Saint comes next and Paul said: "This is his first run of the season and he will need. He does not have a great record on very heavy ground but last year he ran well on soft at Hereford.
Huelgoat should have a better chance: "He loves Wincanton. He won well earlier in the season... He must have a nice chance. As for jockeys, Freddy Gingell should stay on him.
"Individualiste is probably our best chance of the day. He loves heavy ground and only went up four pounds for winning at Taunton last week. I need to chat with the owners and make a decision about who rides him."
