Sedgefield, 14:30: Back Tralee Girl @ 4/51.80
Tralee Girl was a disappointing favourite when last seen in April, failing to break her maiden tag over hurdles, but this looks hers for the taking back from a summer break. She competed at a high level in juvenile hurdles last season, finishing behind some smart juveniles in the likes of Minella Study & Highland Crystal.
The Skeltons looked to have found a good opportunity here, at a course they don't tend to send too many too.
Of the opposition, You Be Lucky Jean is looking to remain unbeaten after winning a couple of bumpers, the latest coming from this course, but the form of her wins shouldn't be strong enough to overturn Tralee Girl and so she's a confident selection to give team Skelton yet another winner on their quest to break Martin Pipe's record.

Sedgefield, 15:00: Back Aill Dubh @ 7/24.50
A fairly tight looking contest even though Jeteye is the one they all have to beat, I'm taking a chance that Aill Dubh can record the third win of his career under rules. He was a winner at Cartmel over shorter a couple of starts back and followed that effort up with a satisfactory run at the same venue just over two weeks ago.
Regular rider Joshua Thompson takes the reins once again, taking off 5lb. Jeteye must carry 12st if he's to take this and must give Aill Dubh 24lb, so with that in mind Aill Dubh looks the one to be on.

Sedgefield, 16:30: Back Expert Analysis @ 5/16.00
A competitive handicap hurdle to conclude the Sedgefield card and it may be worth siding with Expert Analysis for the Jennie Candlish yard. He was purchased back in June on an online sale by his new connections for 6,000 and he caught the eye with a better run on stable debut, over course and distance just over two weeks ago.
He had shown glimmers of promise for his previous yard, mostly on the flat but had ran very poorly on his final start (first in handicap company) at Ballinrobe back in May. The fact he's still only a 4yo, it's very unlikely that we've seen the best of him.
Jennie Candlish is represented also by Karthala in the race, but stable jockey Sean Quinlan chooses to ride Expert Analysis, and you can see why.
