Ollie Pears-trained Max Of Stars could defy top weight in the Pontefract opener under 5lb claiming Chelsea Brooks, having shown good form over this mile-and-a-quarter trip previously when third to Royal Blaze at Newcastle last autumn.
The likeable mare is a previous winner on the Flat, as well a seven-time winner over obstacles, and, although she's 9lb higher than her latest success in this sphere, she's still relatively unexposed over this distance.
Max Of Stars is a formidable contender on her day and could put in a bold bid as she seeks a ninth career win in her 37th appearance.

Experienced six-year-old gelding Giant has shown form at a higher level than this including earlier this season on the all-weather. He's rated 4lb lower on the Turf, and is yet to win on this surface, but has placed three times in his previous five outings, including twice under Harry Davies, who returns in the saddle.
Trained by Ian Williams, Giant is on a workable mark of 63, 6lb below his last winning ratings. He has dropped 3lb since finishing third at Chester in his penultimate start, having been only narrowly denied on the Roodee in his previous outing from a 3lb lower rating, and could give a good account of himself in this field.

Kempton, 17:20 - Back Najmet Minzaal E/W @ 7/18.00
Minzaal filly Najmet Minzaal has shaped with promise in three starts to date and could improve on her handicap debut effort at Catterick when last seen, where she was only beaten a length-and-three-quarters from a 1lb higher mark. She had previously finished fourth in two novice appearances, including on the all-weather at Lingfield.
On debut, the Jack Channon-trained juvenile featured in 150,000gns breeze up buy Agamemnon's maiden success, staying on well late on over the minimum trip. The winner has since placed twice in Stakes company, including when a recent second in a Deauville Group Three, whilst runner-up Undercover Affair has won twice subsequently, and third-placed Billy The Bull has since been beaten only a length in Listed company.
Two subsequent winners have emerged from her second career start at Lingfield, won by €360,000 purchase Terminology, who had previously finished third to Senorita Bonita on debut at Nottingham.
Out of dual winner Zenella, who won over 6f as well as claiming Listed honours over a mile, Najmet Minzaal is a half-sister to likeable performer Fox Power, who also won a Listed contest over a mile.
There's plenty of substance to her form to date and, although she was unable to make a successful start to handicaps, she once again stayed on well enough over 5f to suggest a step up to 6f could bring with it a maiden victory.

George Boughey-trained Dowman got off the mark when last seen at Windsor, beating Belardo Ace by a length in a first-time tongue-tie. Subsequently gelded, he makes his handicap debut here from an opening mark of 73 and could be capable of putting in a bold bid under in-form rider Billy Loughnane.
The son of Sioux Nation must reverse form with Wait Geordie from his debut effort at Bath, but he showed inexperience on that occasion and was in a less favourable position than the eventual winner. With extra experience in his favour, he could beat his reopposing rival and make a successful start in the handicap sphere for an in-form yard.

Yarmouth, 19:40 - Back Spaceage Love Song E/W @ 10/111.00
It may be worth keeping the faith in four-year-old gelding Spaceage Love Song over this mile-and-three-quarter trip following a couple of second-placed efforts over shorter this term. He needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Nottingham when last seen but had excuses that day and could give a better account of himself here back in handicap company.
From a workable mark of 48, the Michael Bell-trained contender is an interesting runner in this staying handicap. He has tried the distance in the past when putting in an eye-catching performance at Wolverhampton in February, sticking to the task well late on having failed to find any luck in the straight that day.
There could be further improvement to come from him over this distance as he remains unexposed as a stayer. He could pose a threat as he bids for a second career success in the hands of Hector Crouch.

Kingman filly Quadrillion is one to note on handicap debut for an in-form Harry Charlton yard in this 7f contest at Kempton. She's out of Frankel mare Quadrilateral, who won the Group One Fillies' Mile and placed third to Love in the 1,000 Guineas, and could be capable of showing plenty of further progression as she makes her fourth career start.
Her latest run when sixth at Yarmouth came following a 304-day absence from which she is entitled to improve. An opening mark of 75 could prove lenient for such a well-bred filly, who had shown promise in two starts as a juvenile last year.
On debut, Quadrillion finished a length third to True Test, who was subsequently only narrowly denied in Listed company and has achieved a rating of 90, with Celestra, a winner since, in second.
She then chased home subsequent Group Three winner Alparslan, now rated 112, in a novice event previously won by future Solario Stakes runner-up Matauri Bay, with Anyasi, unbeaten in two starts since and currently rated 90, in third, subsequent three-time winners The Resdev Scholar, Swiped and Kalokalo in fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.
Her form has been franked and, in only her fourth start, it could be worth keeping the faith in the promising filly who could get back on track in this race. She has the benefit of a run in her favour as she makes her second start of the campaign, still seeking a maiden success, and should make her presence felt.
