Bet of the day: Deauville, 14:50 - Back Great Barrier Reef E/W @ 15/28.50
In the competitive Prix Morny, Great Barrier Reef could represent some each-way value under Wayne Lordan for Aidan O'Brien. He's a bigger price than his stablemate Man's Best Friend, the mount of Ryan Moore, and faces stiff opposition from other classy juveniles, but is unbeaten in three starts and could have further improvement to come.
The Coventry Stakes winner, who has also won a Group Three at the Curragh, impressed at Royal Ascot to claim success at odds of 6/17.00 over consistent Adaay Of Scarlett. This is another step up but he has been progressing well and could make a successful step up to this level.

Brighton, 15:50 - Back Giant E/W @ 20/121.00
Ian Williams-trained Giant couldn't make an impression in his first start at this track when last seen earlier this month, but could fare better from a lower rating with the benefit of experience and is one to note each-way.
Currently on a mark of 60, the six-year-old gelding is 9lb lower rated than when recording his latest win when successful on yard debut for his current stable twelve months ago. That was on an all-weather surface on which he's rated 5lb higher than his Flat mark, but he has since been able to put in competitive efforts from a higher rating on different surfaces too.
Earlier this summer, Giant was able to show he still retains plenty of ability with good efforts at Chester, and he could pose a threat under Harry Davies in this big-field handicap.

Naas, 17:30 - Back Ob La Di @ 5/23.50
Course-and-distance winner Ob La Di could put in a threatening performance under Ben Coen in this extended mile-and-a-quarter contest. She should be able to stay on well in the closing stages with stamina in her favor, and is only 4lb higher than her last winning mark.
The dual winner can be competitive from this rating for Johnny Murtagh and warrants consideration as she seeks a third win in her 21st start.
