The tongue-tie comes off with only blinkers equipped on this occasion, and he's 9lb lower than his last winning mark when winning twelve months ago at Ripon.
Under Sean Kirrane, the five-year-old gelding may be worth keeping the faith in as he bids for a third career win. He was far from disgraced in his penultimate start at Ayr and the best could be yet to come from him this term.

Course winner Just An Hour is winless since his success here over a mile-and-a-quarter last summer, but could be worth keeping onside following a promising third-placed effort at the track recently and makes appeal under Lewis Edmunds.
The Rod Millman-trained contender, who is bidding for a fifth win in his 35th outing, has made the frame on a few occasions this season already. He put in a good performance when second at Nottingham earlier this term, before being only narrowly denied in a Chester handicap last month too, beaten three-quarters-of-a-length by Nibras Gold in an extended mile-and-a-half handicap.
His latest two efforts have been noteworthy, including a third-placed finish at Newbury, and this could be a feasible opportunity for him back up in distance.
