Newbury, 15:02, Hackwood Stakes Tip: Back Soldier's Tree @ 9/43.25
I've been keen on Soldier's Tree all week for the Hackwood and at 11/43.75 he looks the best bet of the weekend.
Noble Champion and Jasour hold superior ratings as older horses, but the former has been well beaten on his previous two starts over 6f and 7f and Jasour is exposed and is hardly going to take a leap off in terms of form.
Soldiers Tree was entered in the Group 1 6f Sprint at Royal Ascot, but his trainer opted for the Wokingham - a race in which he finished a fine third off 107 and was conceding weight to Double Rush and Completely Random.
I can see the 6f at Newbury suiting him well, and the ground won't be an issue after his Royal Ascot and Salisbury runs this term.
He is lightly-raced and still holds some lofty entries for the rest of the season and the 11/43.75 had gone by 13:30 on Friday into 9/43.25.

Newmarket, 15:05, Aphrodite Fillies' Stakes Tip: Back Fashion's Fancy @ 7/24.50
The Aphrodite Listed race requires a fair bit of stamina over 1m4f and Fashion's Fancy, one of two for Charlie Appleby shades it for me.
She won her Novice at Haydock over 1m2f and did it with a minimum of fuss.
It wasn't the strongest run 1m2f at that track as the finish speed of 107% meant you had to be handy (which is often the case there), and with 3f to go she was virtually lobbing along and travelling better than anything else.
It was good to soft on that occasion and on pedigree as a daughter of Night Of Thunder, quicker conditions are sure to suit. She beat Tribal Queen at Haydock, who subsequently bolted up on the All-Weather by 5L and the pair reoppose.
Appleby has reached for the hood to use on Fashion's Fancy, and the trainer has a set of remarkable stats for using a hood at both Newmarket tracks with a strike-rate of 39% win and 63% placed with 25 winners from 64 runners hooded.
