Salisbury 15:55 - Suffused

This is a competitive listed race featuring a number of progressive fillies, but Suffused has created a very favourable impression in winning her two most recent outings and she gets the nod. Suffused won her sole start as a juvenile, and she has shown run-to-run progress this term, her latest victory over C&D being particularly impressive. That wide-margin win suggested that Suffused was a pattern-class performer and she can take this step up in class in her stride.

Salisbury 16:30 - Faery Song

Faery Song ran her best race to date when upped in trip on handicap debut at Leicester, arguably unlucky not to win having met trouble when the pace was increasing, and David Lanigan's charge remains capable of better yet. Faery Song boasts a good pedigree - half-sister to three winners - and cost a decent amount as a yearling, and she is expected to prove a notch above this opposition with a mark of 70 underestimating her ability.

Kempton 20:40 - Coolcalmcollected

Coolcalmandcollected enjoyed the benefit of a no-nonsense front-running ride when getting off the mark at Sandown last time, but she was the winner on merit, in control from some way out, and a 5 lb rise looks fair when you consider her generally-progressive profile. Coolcalmcollected is trained by the excellent Chris Wall, whose runners remain in good heart at present, and she looks open to further progress, particularly now stepped up to a mile.
