Timeform's US team pick out their three best bets for Monday night's stateside action...
The starter allowance race at Pimlico that Debbie's Tude finished third in last time was a stronger affair than the claimer in which she competes at Delaware today (race 8, 21:24 BST), and she can take advantage of the drop in class. Debbie's Tude had shown a decent level of form on dirt, but she seems to have progressed further since switching to turf two starts ago, winning a similar race to this before that good starter allowance run. She's well clear on Timeform form-based ratings and looks a very solid selection.
Master The Blues was a comfortable, fast-time claiming winner last time, and she can take the step up to allowance company in her stride by winning the opener at Presque Isle Downs (22:25 BST). The $25k claimer that Master the Blues won last time was a competitive affair for the level, and the allowance foes she faces today are not a great deal better, in truth. Both Timeform form-based ratings and TimeformUS speed figures give her a decent advantage, and she should go close to recording her sixth career win.
The best bet of today's action comes in the first race at Mountaineer (00:00 BST), as Big Blue Spirit ships in from Churchill Downs and should make light work of this field. The races he's been running in at Louisville are much stronger than this particular event, as he's been taking on the likes of Jack Milton, who himself is now very close to being a G1 performer. Big Blue Spirit's runner-up finish to that rival two starts ago is by far the best form on offer in here, and the drop back to seven furlongs could well be another positive.
