Seek The Fair Land badly lost his way when with Jim Boyle, but his handicap mark has plummeted as a consequence and there was a bit to like about his most recent effort which hinted that a revival may be on the cards. He is worth chancing in Lingfield's six-furlong handicap at 13:30. Seek The Fair Land's latest effort came over C&D and it was interesting to note that he travelled better than has often been the case, shaping as if a return to form could be on  the cards. It is also a positive that the Lee Carter yard is in good nick at present and they can strike with the well-handicapped Seek The Fair Land.

The listed Wild Flower Stakes (18:00), run over one and a half miles, is the feature race at Kempton this evening and it can go to the David O'Meara-trained Fattsota. A smart performer for Marco Botti, Fattsota proved that he was as good as ever when making a successful first start for his current yard in May, winning a minor event at Epsom in good style from the front. Fattsota has continued to run well, despite tasting defeat on all three starts since, and this looks like a good opportunity for the five-year-old whose front-running style could be an advantage in a race where there may not be much competition for the lead.

Tropics may have been the stable star as Dean Ivory enjoyed a tremendous season, but Lancelot du Lac also did his bit, winning in handicap company on three occasions, and his most recent effort, when third in a listed event at Lingfield, shows that he may not have finished climbing the ranks just yet. He can win the six-furlong handicap (19:00) at Kempton this evening. Lancelot du Lac's third-place finish at Lingfield represented just about a career-best effort and the presence of several that like to race prominently here should ensure that Dean Ivory's strong-travelling colt has the race run to suit.
