C&D scorer Sunshine Buddy is back on that last winning mark, and fit from a spin at Towcester following six months off, should be spot on for this. Bernisdale arrives on the back of a Flat victory, so has to be feared, while Richard Johnson is an eye-catching booking on Pembridge.

Boyfromnowhere - 14:30 Chepstow

Boyfromnowhere has been in the doldrums since winning at Fontwell two years ago but he's potentially well treated on his return/debut for this yard as a result and could be worth chancing. The improving Castarnie is the obvious threat, with Smart Exit best of the others.

Toowoomba - 15:30 Chepstow

Toowoomba improved for the switch to fences earlier this year, landing back-to-back handicap chase wins in January, but something clearly wasn't right at Wincanton last time, and he can resume his progression now. Quite By Chance was spared a hard race on recent return, and he looks the likely danger if coming on for that run as expected.
