Frangipanni's dam made rapid strides in handicap company before eventually winning the July Cup and she should be capable of defying what remains a lowly mark

Timeform provide you with bets from three different venues on Wednesday...

Lingfield's six-furlong handicap at 16:30 has a competitive look to it, but the Roger Charlton-trained Frangipanni appeals as the type to continue to thrive in handicaps, and she can follow up a recent C&D success. Making her handicap bow on her return from five months off, Frangipanni, who boasts a smart pedigree, attracted good market support and she justified that confidence with a narrow victory, staying on strongly close home to prevail. Her dam made rapid strides in handicap company before eventually winning the July Cup and she should be capable of defying what remains a lowly mark.

Imperial Legend (Ayr, 16:50) shaped as if he would be better for the run on his reappearance and he duly stepped up on that effort when finishing third at Thirsk last time, looking as if he is just coming to the boil. Twice a winner last season, Imperial Legend arguably produced his best effort in defeat as he finished runner-up over C&D in a competitive handicap, managing to finish in front of recent York winner Aetna (albeit that horse shaped best on the wrong side). He remains on a fair mark, arrives in good form and will handle conditions, so everything looks set up for a bold bid.

Hayjack was travelling and jumping extremely well at Ludlow when the race was declared void due to a false start, and he can confirm the impression that he is a well-handicapped horse by taking Worcester's two-and-a-half mile handicap chase at 18:40. A bumper and hurdle winner, Hayjack shaped nicely on two starts over fences when with Charlie Longsdon, pulling clear with subsequent Cheltenham Festival scorer Midnight Prayer before falling at the last at Stratford when probably held, and then doing too much too soon at Bangor. Hayjack is potentially thrown in based on the Stratford form, and he was set to confirm that view on his first start for Martin Keighley at Ludlow, looking the likely winner before the race was halted. Forcing tactics over two and a half miles should suit ideally and he can dominate this field.
