Miss Ellany (15:20, Catterick) has plenty in her favour, sent handicapping for the first time this afternoon, and she can make it two victories in a row having scored at Beverley last time. That victory came on soft ground and, with conditions underfoot likely to be testing once again this afternoon, she looks the type to go well when others may struggle. It is likely that she has more left to offer, having switched to the David O'Meara yard after conducting her two-year-old campaign in Ireland, and Miss Ellany can reward punters despite her relatively cramped odds in a race where she is the Timeform top-rated selection.

Dancheur (18:20, Kempton) turned in an improved performance to land a victory at Redcar last time and the suspicion is that there may be more left in the tank given the manner of her success. Dancheur travelled well for much of the way before quickening clear and seeing out her race all the way to the line, never looking like being pegged back by the runner-up. She remains relatively lightly raced and her connections seem to have found her the perfect race in which to follow up, given she is still Timeform's top-rated selection despite an 8 lb rise in the weights.

Rumh is arguably the standard-setter in the 20:00 at Kempton this evening, and she has an excellent chance of making the places with a win potentially on the cards. Rumh won her one and only polytrack start in her juvenile campaign, and should be given another chance on the surface despite disappointing in recent outings. She was good enough to land a listed contest last season and, if returning to anything like that form, she is one of the more likely types here, the step up in trip the only a cause for slight concern.
