Tatlisu showed useful form to win a claimer at Newbury last time and, with the handicapper not reacting as harshly as may have been expected, should be backed to win the 14:50 at Leicester. Tatlisu cashed in on a reduced mark to score here earlier in the season but he took his form to a different level at Newbury, beating some useful older rivals on disadvantageous terms. Sometimes it pays to be sceptical about seemingly improved efforts in claimers but Tatlisu is unexposed over seven furlongs and, for now, it is fair to assume that he just produced a clear career-best effort. The handicapper has taken a chance allowing him to race from this sort of mark and Richard Fahey's charge can capitalise. 

Nautilus possibly kicked for home too soon when finishing second on his first try over one and half miles at Newmarket last time and is given another chance in the 15:50 at Leicester. Nautilus had looked slightly quirky earlier in the season but there has been nothing wrong with his application of late, running out a facile winner at Newmarket on his penultimate outing. He couldn't quite match that form last time but he probably did too much too soon and is well worth another chance at this trip which promises to suit.

Avon Breeze has progressed well this year, twice winning over the minimum distance, and she holds strong claims in Beverley's five-furlong handicap at 17:40. Richard Whitaker's filly comes into this contest in excellent form having produced a good effort in defeat at Ripon last time, faring best of those to race far side in a competitive six-furlong event, and, with relatively few miles on the clock for a sprinter, she may still be open to improvement. Avon Breeze is one to keep on the right side.
