Big Storm Coming boasts a progressive profile so is bound to be popular in Southwell's 13:10, as is Hellbender who has a fine record at this track since joining the yard of Shaun Harris, but the one we are most interested in is Only Ten Per Cent, who scored here on four occasions last year. The five-year-old has shaped as though he is still in form at Kempton the last twice, meeting trouble when last seen a month ago, and has now slipped to a mark 5 lb below his most recent winning one, so there is every chance that he can bounce back to winning ways now returned to his apparently favoured surface.

Our final two selections come at Wolverhampton, starting in the 17:30 with Appyjack fancied to score. The five-year-old, successful at this venue off a mark of 55 in 2011, has slipped to 46 after a series of uninspiring efforts this year, but he showed more spark when third at Kempton last month and ought to be right in the mix if building upon that now, particularly with the slight step back up in trip likely to be in his favour.

Kindlelight Storm, who cost 110,000 gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to useful performer Tarooq, didn't offer a great deal in maidens but was well backed, and duly obliged, on handicap debut at Kempton last month. He was turned out again just eight days later and bizarrely upped to 10 furlongs, which he patently failed to stay, and there is every chance that he also found the race coming too soon. He retains the Timeform 'p' on his rating and is one of the least exposed in the 19:30 this evening, so should go very close to registering another success.
